This study explores the role of basic and ritual knowledge in shaping Muslim attitudes toward acts of worship. Using a quantitative survey design, the study examines how both doctrinal understanding and practical knowledge of worship practices (such as ṣalāh, ṣawm, and dhikr) influence Muslims' spiritual engagement with worship. Data from 400 participants revealed significant positive correlations between both types of knowledge and attitudes toward worship, with basic knowledge showing a slightly stronger effect. The study emphasizes that the combination of doctrinal understanding and ritual proficiency leads to more meaningful and intentional worship experiences. These findings highlight the importance of integrating both knowledge dimensions in Islamic education to foster deeper, more fulfilling engagement with worship practices, particularly for younger Muslims in contemporary, pluralistic societies.
